Freon Leak – Kinderkamack Road

On Saturday morning, the fire department responded to a reported smoke condition on the 2nd floor of a building in the 200 block of Kinderkamack Road. The Lieutenant from Engine 23 quickly reported that contractors on scene had ruptured a freon pipe on an air conditioner unit which created a vapor cloud in the hallway. The unit was secured and the building was vented with fresh air.  Members took some time to cool down before returning to quarters.

2016 Fund Drive Underway

The fire department has begun our Annual Fund Drive for 2016.  Residents should begin to receive our flyer in the mail this week.

This year, the fire department will not be going door-to-door, instead all donations should be mailed in or made directly through Paypal.DSXS4591C1E

 

The Officers and Members of the Oradell Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank the residents of Oradell for their support in the past and ask for continued support this year.

Our department depends on the residents of this town just as much as the residents depend on us. Your tax deductible contribution will help offset the many costs of our daily operations which are not completely covered by the municipal budget. No donation is too small and we are grateful for any help you can provide. We cannot do this alone, we need your help.
