This Memorial Day Weekend the fire department remembers those that have come before us to serve this Country.
The Borough of Oradell will honor and remember all Veterans with a parade and ceremonies on Monday, May 25 starting at 9:00 AM, on Memorial Field at the corner of Prospect and Park Avenues.
On 5/16/15 in the late evening members were requested by the Police Department to assist in the search of a wooded area near the Hackensack River for a missing person. Squad 22 and SCUBA 26 responded. Units conducted land based searches and operated for almost two hours before being released. The missing person was located elsewhere.

The camera caught a brief glimpse of former OFD Slugger and former Team Manager J. Moretti today. The former Slugger and past head of player development was 21 Chauffeur today for the CO run on Prospect Ave. As you can see staying limber is an important aspect of driving the big red truck. Coach Moretti’s quote of the day – “If your feet hit the street, the vest is on your chest!”
Earlier this week, members completed additional training on our Multi-Force Door Simulator which allows us to review forcible entry techniques in order to gain entry into structures that may be locked or heavily fortified.
