Today, members of the department are alerted by one-way radios that the fire department has been dispatched to an incident. All members respond to the firehouse first, then to the scene by way of our apparatus. Those responding to the firehouse utilize flashing blue lights to alert motorists of their response. Please yield and give these responders the right of way when you see them on the road.

Regular Membership
- Eligibility: 18+ years, Oradell resident or adjacent town
- Commitment: Respond to calls, participate in training and meetings
Day Membership
- Eligibility: 18+ years, employed in Oradell, and an active regular member of another fire department
- Commitment: Respond to calls during daytime hours and attend department training
Junior Membership
- Eligibility: Ages 16-18, Oradell residents
- Commitment: Respond to calls, engage in training to prepare for Regular Membership
